Kasaar Devi temple, it is situated on the famous Binsar wild life sanctuary
road, 7 kms from the main town of Almora. The resort is surrounded by virgin
jungle consisting of verdant, thick deodar, oak, pine and rhododendron
trees. A wide range of Himalayan snow peaks add to the glamour of the
Resort.
Kasaar Jungle Resort is located in Kasaar at a distance of 3 kms from Almora.
Kasaar Jungle Resort, is a comfortable 8 hour drive from Delhi, via
Moradabad, Kathgodam and Bhimtal. An overnight train journey in A/c Sleeper
on the Ranikhet Express leaving from Old Delhi about 2300 hrs gets you into
Kathgodam about 0600 hrs. From there, Maruti Van taxis can reach you to The
Kasaar Jungle Resort, Almora in two and half hours.

There are 15 cottages elegantly decorated with modern taste and all
amenities and facilities. Each cottage has a verandah from where you can
savour the breathtaking view of the mighty Trishul, Nandadevi, Maiktoli,
Mrightuni to name a few.
