Day 01::Pelling
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra and transfer to Pelling
(135 kms/6hrs). Located at an altitude of 6,800 ft,
Pemayangtse is a very small Himalayan village in West
Sikkim. Pelling is the nearest motorable point from
Mt. Kanchendzonga, worlds 03rd highest peak, offers a
good sunrise and all day Longview of Khangchendzonga
and the entire Eastern Himalayan range. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 02::Pelling
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing in an
around Pemayangtes, in the fast half you will be
covering Changay Falls Singshore Bridge (Worlds
2ndhighest hanging bridge) Dentam Bazaar & Pemayangtse
Monastery - the 2ns oldest monastery of Sikkim, return
to hotel for lunch followed by the second half of the
days sightseeing covering Rimbi Falls, Sacred
Kechodpalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls & Rimbi Power
Project, overnight at hotel.
Day 03::Gangtok
Morning transfer to Gangtok (125kms/6.5hrs), en route
visit Ravangla - a small township in South Sikkim at
the base of Menam Hill. Evening free for individual
activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.
Day 04::Gangtok
Morning starts the half-day sightseeing in and around
this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Stupa,
Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday) Institute
of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday), after
lunch visit Roomtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Center
(24Kms/45Mins).
Day 05::Gangtok
AM start for a half day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft),
which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, the lake is
almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15mtrs deep.
The lake is considered sacred by the local people,
Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual
activity.
Day 06::Lachung
Morning Transfer from Gangtok to Lachung, (122 kms /
06 Hrs). Lachung, Check-in Hotel. At an altitude of
9500 ft. Lachung is the most village town of Northern
Part of Sikkim. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07::Yumtang Valley
Early morning after breakfast start for half-day
excursion trip to Yumtahng Valley, en-rote visit Hot
Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Transfer
back to Lachung for Lunch followed by visit to Lachung
Monastery and Govt. Cottage Industry, Evening free,
overnight at Hotel.
Day 08::Gangtok
Morning Transfer from Lachung to Gangtok. Overnight at
Gangtok Hotel.
Day 09::Gangtok
Morning Transfer to NJP / Bagdogra airport
(115kms/4.5hrs), Tour Ends.
