The General's Retreat is located
at the centre of Jaipur City. It is easily accessible and 12 kilometres from
the Sanganer Airport, and barely two kilometres from the Railway Station,
the Bus Stand and the City Centre.
The General's Retreat is built in the early nineteen sixties by the Late
General Kumarao Singh, The General’s Retreat was to serve as his post
retirement sanctuary. It is designed by a French architect, The General’s
Retreat is a perfect blend of the old and the new. Resting on part of the
sprawling Chomu estate, it is in the heart of Jaipur City, yet the
surrounding greens make seem far away from the hub. At General's Retreat one
can experience the aura of his home – of the continuing traditions of Rajput
hospitality.

The General's Retreat is built in the post modern style of architecture, The
General's Retreat has ten well appointed, fully furnished rooms with
attached European style bathrooms with running hot and cold water. One of
the rooms has an attached kitchenette.
SERVICES & FACILITIES
At the General’s Retreat, sumptuous meals are served at he dining hall for
in-house guests. Room service is available for hot and cold beverages and
snacks. Besides it provides facilities of Attached Bath, Round the clock
running hot & cold water, Gift Shop, Laundry, Doctor on Call, Car Rental,
