Kerala is an exotic place located on the tropical Malabar Coast of southwestern India. It is blessed with enormous natural beauty. In the east is attached by Tamil Nadu and northeast side is borders with and Karnataka; to its west and south lie the Indian Ocean islands of Lakshadweep and the Maldives, respectively. Kerala envelops Mahé, a coastal exclave of the Union Territory of Pondicherry. Kerala is one of four states that comprise the linguistic-cultural region known as South India.

Kerala is an evergreen place which attracts thousands of tourists every year. It is land of hill stations, rivers, backwaters, breathtaking landscapes, lush green fields with lot of trees, exotic beaches, a purified world in Kerala, well educated & friendly people. Kerala has forty-four rivers crisscross the state physique along with countless runlets. During summer, these monsoon-fed rivers will turn into rivulets especially in the upper parts of Kerala. Kerala is a green strip of land, in the South West corner of Indian peninsula.

Kerala may be divided into three geographical regions: (1) High lands, (2) Midlands and (3) Lowlands. The Highlands slope down from the Western Ghats which rise to an average height of 900 m, with a number of peaks well over 1,800 m in height. This is the area of major plantations like tea, coffee, rubber, cardamom and other spices.
 
The Midlands, lying between the mountains and the lowlands, is made up of undulating hills and valleys. This is an area of intensive cultivation. Cashew, coconut, areca nut, cassava (tapioca), banana, rice, ginger, pepper, sugarcane and vegetables of myriad varieties are grown in this area.

Major Travel Destinations

Alleppey  ::  Alleppey is one of the most important tourist centers in the Kerala. A large network of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline. Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past with one of the best known ports along the malabar coast.

Calicut
 ::  Calicut is locally known as Kozhikode, it was the capital and an important trade centre of the former Malabar District. It is the third largest city of Kerala. This city is famous as the place where Zheng He of China first visited, then later Vasco da Gama in 1498.

Ernakulam
 ::  Ernakulam, is a beautiful city standing strong in front of the Arabian sea. The city the commercial capital of Kerala so it  is very modern and fully of life. The city has so many tourist attractions, the word 'Erayanarkulam' means 'Abode of 'Lord Shiva'.

Idukki

Kochi

Kovalam

Thekkady
  ::  Thekkady is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

Thiruvananthapuram 
::  Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. It is located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland. The city is characterized by its undulating terrain of low coastal hills with narrow winding lanes and busy commercial alleys.

Wayanad 
::  Wayanad District is in the north-east of Kerala, India, was formed on November 1, 1980 as the 12th district, carved out of Kozhikode and Kannur districts. Though the etymology of the word Wayanad is popularly known to be Vayal (paddy) NiCad (land); 'Land of Paddy Fields', the scholars disagree.
