Ken River Lodge made a humble start in 1986. The
love for wildlife, encouraged Shyamendra Singh, grandson of Maharaja Of
Nagod to establish the lodge. The Lodge was washed out in the floods of
1992, only to come out stronger and better.
The Ken River with its fresh, clear water, flows
through the ravines of the Vendhya range and sustains the varied wildlife of

rich variety of animal life which includes Tiger, Panther, Sloth Bear,
Sambhar, Cheetal Bluebull, Chowsingha, Magar, Chinkara and the lesser
